Marketel ("we", "us", "our") operates the bookmarketel.com website, the Marketel Front Desk mobile app, Guestel, and related booking services. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to property owners and guests.
We collect information you provide directly:
We also collect information from your guests when they book through your engine:
When you use Marketel Front Desk, we may also collect:
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the Service, or as part of a business transfer. Service providers may use information only to perform services for us.
We use safeguards including HTTPS encryption, keyed one-way hashing for Front Desk PINs, signed time-limited links and booking actions, access controls, rate limits, and secure database connections. Payment card data is handled by Stripe and is not stored on our servers. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and reservation data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. A property owner can request deletion from Marketel Front Desk settings. The request has a 7-day grace period during which it can be canceled; after that, the property account and operational booking data are scheduled for deletion and the subscription is canceled. You may also contact support for help.
A guest can immediately delete their Guestel account in Guestel under Account > Privacy & this device. This removes the guest-facing wallet, saved-card customer, notification registrations, and access to historical Guestel conversations. Deleting Guestel does not cancel a hotel reservation. Properties retain reservation, transaction, and message records they need to operate a stay and satisfy legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute obligations.
We may retain limited records when required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations. Information retained for those purposes is not used to keep operating a deleted booking engine.
You can:
Our websites use essential browser storage for authentication and service operation. We also use first-party browser storage to assign anonymous visitor and per-tab session identifiers so events from landing, setup, and activation can be understood as one journey. Public marketing and web funnel pages may also use Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity technologies for advertising measurement, usage analytics, and troubleshooting. Those advertising and session-replay tools are not loaded inside Marketel Front Desk, Guestel, or the Guestel App Clip. You can limit these technologies through your browser and device settings.
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect account information from children.
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
